ree

salt

running down my face

like feelings

i refuse to embrace

shadows of pain

affection in a vase

pure caring reign

undeserving must chase

search for a trace

pure caring gone vain

grab hold my mane

hiding behind lace

ride to the other side

of the moon

where hurt won't erase

love won't hide

spirits embrace

peace will abide

in the thin air

enemies confide

on the same branch

of the tree that lied

treasures are to be taken

pirates are shied

on this side of the moon

i wonder why i ever cried
