In front of my stream

Of consciousness

My essence unseen

Struggles to believe

In the place before

This human weave

In lessons of lore

Where I could grieve

In nothingness

Hope hurries ahead

Of passion’s sorrow

To repair the dead

Soul of tomorrow

Who’s truth bled

On those who borrowed

From selfishness
